- **About the role**:

The MBIE Service Centre needs people who are switched on. To be successful in this role, you will need a passion for learning, a positive, pro-active approach to work, are resilient and have proven experience in a customer service environment as we represent a range of business areas, both within MBIE and for external government agencies, so need people who can think on their feet. We take calls from over 35 different phone lines and deal with a diverse and varied range of over topics including housing, employment, businesses, and licensing to name a few.
You will assist clients in meeting their statutory obligations and help them navigate the services available to them through MBIE and wider Government. It will be your role to ensure that every contact is an opportunity for businesses and consumers to acquire information, education and encouragement that will assist them in resolving their queries.
As a member of the Te Whakatairanga Service Delivery team, you will gain invaluable insights into MBIE, you'll build relationships within the organisation, and you will be well supported by a well-established and experienced leadership team.
**Training**:
Fully paid training will potentially start mid - late October. Training will require your full-time commitment to 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8 am and 6 pm. Training will be for a period of approx. 4 weeks. Should you be interested in part time, you must be able to commit to fulltime training. On conclusion of the training period, you will commence your part-time working schedule.
**Hours**:
This is a permanent, full-time role with paid working hours of 37.5 hours per week. You will be scheduled for an 8-hour shift between the hours of 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday.

**Salary**:
The current starting salary for our Client Service Advisors is $60,727. Thanks to our progression framework, if you like self-development and achieving goals there is the ability to move quickly through our salary steps.
Within 12 to 18 months you could be on $70,625 with the ability to move to a Senior Client Service Advisor role and earn up to $77,359.
