My client is a New Zealand owned property insights business whose sole purpose is to give New Zealanders all the information they need to make informed property decisions - customers are their focus They are looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer with a billing focus on a 6month contract basis with the potential to go permanent. **The Role**

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will focus on the billing process and reconciliations of customer accounts. As this is a newly created position, your proven skillset will be instrumental in setting up the processes around billings. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- The generation and distribution of customer invoices.
- Processing and allocation of customer payments.
- Reconciliations and maintenance of customer accounts, processing adjustments where necessary.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and investigating any billing queries.
- Working with the wider finance team to ensure payments are received in a timely manner.
- Ad-hoc duties.

**Skills & Experience**

We are looking for an individual who has proven experience working in full function accounts receivable position with a focus on billing, who also has a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

You will have the ability to pick up systems in a timely manner and an intermediate level of excel. You will be a strong communicator and have the ability to hit the ground running.
