**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**

The Intake and Triage role covers the screening of all non-urgent referrals to the allocated teams. This will include both phone triage and face to face assessment. Liaison with external stakeholders such as GP’s, community based clinicians and NGO’s. This includes enquiries from the general public and referrers. Opportunities for quality improvement initiatives.

**Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team**

This role covers the Intake and triage of both Wellington South CMHT and our Addictions service. Both teams are based in the same building and pride themselves on making working in a challenging environment fun. Both teams have dedicated and highly trained clinicians. Orientation to the role will include time with other agencies/teams both internal and external.

**Moū - About you**

The successful applicant will have at least 5 years’ experience of working within Mental Health and Addictions.

Have excellent assessment and triage skills, demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Will hold a current annual practicing certificate.

Be able to work as part of an MDT as well as independently

Have good networking skills to liaise with external stakeholders
