- Who is ABI_?

ABI Rehabilitation is a leading provider in brain injury rehabilitation. We hold CARF accreditation, an international gold standard in person centered rehabilitation.
- What does an ABI rehabilitation assistant (RA) do_?

Your main role is to provide support to adults with traumatic brain injuries by providing a safe environment and supporting them with their goals. You'll need to be prepared to do varied household tasks to support our clients. This also includes supporting clients to participate in meaningful activities by encouraging engagement to help them achieve maximum independence, and you will always champion best practice.

Previous experience working with people who have challenges with their mental health and/or physical limitations is ideal. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and sustain working relationships with clients is essential. A relevant qualification in mental health is desirable.

As our services operate 24/7, hours of work will include day, evening, weekend and awake night shifts and are rostered Monday - Sunday.
- What do you need_?
- Must have experience in intensive brain injury rehabilitation
- Must have Level 4 Health Health and Wellbeing Qualification (or equivalent) or higher
- A full, clean New Zealand driver's license
- A 'can-do' attitude and be able to demonstrate strong personal and professional boundaries
- Flexibility and willingness to work rostered shifts
- Strong communications skills

Pay rate - Pay Equity Banding Rate dependent on experience and qualifications.
