As a Yard/Drive Thru team member you will give personable customer service locating the stock customers require and helping them to their vehicle. You will be an active individual as this role will keep you fit while being able to use a computer to keep records of orders and inventory control.

Our client is a well-respected building supplier in the industry looking to expand their team in Wellington (Kaiwharawhara).

As a Yard/Drive Thru team member you will give personable customer service locating the stock customers require and helping them to their vehicle. You will be an active individual as this role will keep you fit while being able to use a computer to keep records of orders and inventory control.

Internal training is provided around product knowledge; there are opportunities for career progression, development and to get licensing as part of the team. Work hours are 40 hours per week including Saturday.

Key responsibilities include:

- Help customers find and load product into vehicles
- Manage stock and accurately record product on in-house system
- Assist in the yard area
- Follow health and safety protocols to carry out work safely
- Display great customer service as a key member of the store

About you:

- Reasonably fit and able to lift up to 25kg
- Attention to detail working with numbers
- Customer service and interpersonal skills that will help you recommend and advise product to a trade customer base
- Full (or near) driver's license is required - potential to F endorse with forklift
- Industry or warehouse knowledge is beneficial but not a requirement
