With expanding clientele in Auckland, we are seeking 2 passionate and skillful Nail Technicians who are attentive to and enthusiastic about nail services, from meticulous nail preparation to the very latest in acrylic and gel nail enhancement techniques.

This role is full-time (minimum 30 hours/ week), overtime shifts are available based on business needs. Applicants must be flexible to work a variety of shifts including late nights, weekends and holidays periods. Youll be working one-on-one with clients in private spaces, so its important that youre comfortable with small talk and can make them feel at ease. The job location is in Auckland New Zealand.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Skills in gel polish manicures, pedicures, and nail extensions
- Dipping powder and nail arts design skills
- Good knowledge and use of chemicals for nail treatments
- A perfectionist attitude performing each treatment to their highest standards
- Initiative to be flexible with client requests driven by creative thinking
- Initiative to always follow nail safety protocols, including instrument and equipment sanitation
- Ability to work with others in and outside of our team, punctual, organised and reliable

Tasks & responsibilities:

- Carrying out manicure and pedicure services
- Analysing nail characteristics and advising on suitable beauty related treatments to clients using good knowledge of specialised treatments and products
- Discussing client needs and performing manicures (buff, shape, and polish clients nails) and spa pedicures (treat clients feet and toenails)
- Decorating and designing on clients nails (nail arts)
- Booking client appointments
- Communicating to reach clients needs, ensuring clients satisfaction
- End of day records and stocktakes
- Referring clients to health professionals regarding nails diseases and problems
- Building relationships and bringing in new clients
- Massaging clients hands and feet
- Providing advice on beauty care and relevant treatments and product selling
