Jack's Point is consistently rated amongst the top golf courses in New Zealand and is currently rated #2 in the country. The 18-hole par 72 championship course opened for play in November 2008 and has forged a reputation as a 'must play golf course’ for all golfing abilities in New Zealand's top golf destination, Queenstown.

The course has been designed in harmony with the natural environment, weaving through native tussock grasslands, dramatic rock outcrops, steep bluffs and swathes of native bush to the edge of Lake Wakatipu. The presentation of the course is second to none, which makes Jack’s Point one of the world’s great golfing experiences.

The job of Golf Operations Assistant involves assisting with the delivery of day to day golf activities for members and visitors to Jacks Point i.e. - booking and starting procedures, tournament and event management, course controls relating to player use, rental equipment use, golf cart and driving range set up including the grooming of carts and rental equipment after use.

**What will you be doing?**
- Ensure that sales and customer services are always a priority
- Always maintain a high standard of grooming, presentation and personal hygiene. Your staff uniform must be worn, maintained, clean and tidy.
- Assist with day to day operations as directed.
- Process all daily cash ups and ensure any variances are followed through and reported to your Manager.
- Assist the Outdoor service manager with day to day maintenance of golf cart fleet and rental equipment and driving range operations.
- Meet and greet golfers both before and after completion of their round.
- The golf shop retail operation is an important aspect of the business, you are expected to play a part in the delivery of strong customer sales and presentation of this area at all times.
- Work alongside other operations like Food & Beverage, Yoga, course maintenance and JPROA teams to give the best possible customer experience for guests to Jacks Point.

You will have a positive approach to customer care, be good at handling retail sales and will be passionate and enthusiastic about golf.
