We are looking for someone to provide effective and efficient front-line assistance to the invoicing and collection of council rates by undertaking a range of customer support and administrative duties within Finance group
**About you**:
- We want someone to deliver excellent customer service as part of a steady, high performing team
- We want someone looking to extend their experience in administration of customer accounts
- The role involves direct contact with our customers across a wide and varied range of communication channels. You will provide administration and customer service support and be responsible for a number of transactional processes and maintenance tasks on a daily basis
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum level 2 NCEA or equivalent
**Experience**:
- Previous relevant customer service and administrative experience or training
- Competent Microsoft office suite skills are required along with being keen to learn new system and processes.
**About the role**:
- Customer call management - manage high call volumes on a daily basis responding to ratepayer enquiries
- General administration including correspondence for rate invoicing and collection
- Process solicitor settlement requests for property sales
- Manage and maintain customer details for billing purposes
We rate over 200,000 properties annually and have a number of high volume processes and administrations tasks to complete on a daily basis. We pride ourselves on our high level of customer service delivered and quality outputs across all our work.
