Do you thrive in a client-focused environment and enjoy solving real-world challenges? **Aero NZ** is looking for a **Technical Sales Consultant** to support our South Island clients and expand our presence across Christchurch and beyond.

As part of a growing team, you'll work closely with trade professionals, integrators, and installers to deliver smart, secure, and seamless automation solutions.

**What You'll Be Doing**
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with trade customers, installers, and integrators
- Promoting our full range of automation and access solutions to meet (and exceed) sales targets
- Offering technical support before, during, and after sales to ensure smooth implementation
- Identifying new opportunities for business development across Christchurch and the South Island
- Leading product demos and training sessions to empower installers and clients
- Attending industry events to keep Aero NZ top of mind across the market
- Supporting the local branch with hands-on help when needed — we're a team-first kind of company

**About you**
- 3+ years' experience in technical sales or customer support, ideally in the access control or automation space
- Strong technical insight with the ability to explain complex systems clearly and confidently
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience with automatic door systems, gate automation, or access control is a big plus
- A sales-driven mindset and a natural ability to problem-solve
- NZ permanent resident with full working rights.
