An exciting opportunity for a proven Risk Business Partner where you can work closely with senior leadership to enable the delivery of strategic objectives. Te tūranga - The role The Risk Business Partner will work closely with a variety of senior stakeholders across Te Pūtea Matua to support how they manage risk by gaining a deep understanding of their goals and operating context. In this role you will be developing strong and effective partnerships across the Reserve Bank in order to drive a positive risk culture and ensure an effective and dynamic approach to risk management. You will be involved in the continued evolution and improvement of how we manage risk to deliver on key strategic objectives. You will have the opportunity to gain insight and learn about the different areas of Te Pūtea Matua. To view the position description, click here. Ō pūkenga - About you To be successful in this role you'll have:
- Extensive experience in internal audit and/or risk management and/or an advisory role in financial or professional services
- Proven partnering and stakeholder engagement skills through working with senior leadership and other leaders
- A growth mindset and the ability to work across a variety of workstreams
- Experience in determining practical risk mitigations and internal controls to manage gaps and weaknesses
- An ability to influence and effectively work collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Well-developed self-management skills, implementing actions plans and effectively achieving agreed objectives on time.
- High level of integrity, initiative, conduct, judgement and discretion.
- Enabling organisational capability - assessment, development, coaching etc
