Our Hāpai Hapori (Community Operations) team, is at the heart of this work. We have people across the motu, and they work with hapori, hapu and iwi groups to help them understand the support that's available and how funding can be accessed.
Te Puna Tahua, the Lottery Grants Board (Board) distributes circa $1.2 Billion every four years to fund community, hapu and iwi projects. Any group or hapori/community, hapu or iwi will tell you how important this is, and the difference it can make for them.
We're looking for a Practice Lead Outcomes to join our team. It's a vital role as the Board is evolving to an Outcomes approach that is Strategy led, Data driven and Learns to better manage Lottery Grant funding.
This role would suit an experienced Outcomes Practitioner looking to take their next step and operate at a whole of system level within a circa $320m pa system.

**We're looking for someone with**:

- proven ability to create and deliver multi-year outcome based strategies
- experience in engaging a range of stakeholders from a Board through to community, hapu, iwi in developing and accessing outcome approaches and models.
- the skills to analyse and present options based on data and evaluation results
- experience in developing strategic options and leading decisioning panels focusing on Outcomes, priorities and trade-offs
- great organisational skills and the ability to manage a programme of activity
- great people skills and the ability to lead the Outcomes practice and team and connect with teams across the organisation and support others in their work with communities, hapu and iwi
- 10 years relevant experience in a similar role preferred.

Knowledge of Te Ao Māori and how best to tailor approaches for understanding aspirations of community, hapu and iwi would also be beneficial.
