New Zealand's leading transport provider, Sime Darby Motors (NZ) Ltd, is opening a flagship BMW Motorcycle dealership on Auckland's North Shore.

Continental Motorrad, currently under construction, will be a state-of-the art facility showcasing the very best in BMW Motorrad motorcycles, parts, accessories and service, which will incorporate the latest BMW Motorrad design elements to create a very special environment for customers and staff.

If you are an experienced Dealership Manager, or are ready to make the step up to running New Zealand's premiere motorcycle dealership, we would like to hear from you. A passion for motorcycles and sales is a prerequisite for this exciting position as are attention to detail, the ability to lead from the front and a systems focus.

The Dealership Manager role reports directly to the General Manager of Retail who is looking for a high performer who is passionate about motorcycles.

The key accountabilities will include:

- Developing and managing all opportunities for the business to help ensure long term profitability and growth of the business and franchise
- Working closely with BMW and Sime Darby in developing and managing business plans, priorities and working within operating policies to achieve business objectives
- Marketing and positioning this dealership as one of New Zealand's premier motorcycle dealerships through the delivery of exceptional customer service
- Lead and manage the team to help achieve and maintain a high performing and supportive team culture

To ensure your success you will have:

- A proven track record as a successful manager and leader within the automotive and retail industry
- Strong experience in successfully developing and maintaining effective interpersonal relationships and strong partnerships with a wide range of people, team members, customers and key stakeholders
- Sound management skills and commercial experience in planning, strategic ability, understanding of financial aspects of the business and effective negotiations
