Full Time role - Minimum guaranteed of 30 hours per week.

Hourly pay rate between $28 - $30 NZD per hour

**Overview of what is required?**

Whether in the Housekeeping department, Front Office department or Food & Beverage department you will serve to provide the very best service to our Guests that will enhance their overall experience, making it exceptional from the very beginning of their stay until the very end, and all the important elements and interactions in between. A Cross-Department Operations Leader is a true influencer of the guest experience covering many skills and duties, starting from the first impression and beyond, making this position responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards in what every department they are operating in:

- Oversee and lead the department when the absence of a department senior leader or manager.
- Achieve positive outcomes from Guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure an efficient reception experience for Guests, including check in/out, and other tasks as required.
- Ensure that the Department leaders and managers are kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and, or other departments.
- Maintaining guest and owners relations to the highest level of respect and courtesy.
- Maintain all accounts accurately and ensure that all records for each operation are accurately records, and up to date, and accounted for.
- Demonstrate a high level of Guest Service in all departments at all times.
- Attend and lead appropriate training courses, when required, and assist with the wider teams training and development requirements.
- Demonstrate a desire to gain sound knowledge of hotel operations, across all departments, including but not limited to: room layout, room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, room full service cleaning procedures and methods, daily service cleaning methods and procedures, inventory and stock of room supplies, food & beverage setup and other general product knowledge necessary to perform various department duties.
- Maximize revenue opportunities relevant to the department by up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities at every opportunity, this enticing the guests to return.
- Advocate and promote Accor loyalty program benefits and advantages, plus drive sign-ups at every opportunity.
- Following enquiries of interest to on-sell and up-sell Accor properties and activities.
- Promote and sell activities / tours and local attraction at every opportunity requested.
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all the latest health and safety legislation.
- Act in accordance with policies and procedures when working with departmental equipment and property management systems
- Assist other departments, as and when required.
