H2R Technology is currently supporting a Public Sector organization that touches the lives of many New Zealanders recruit a Senior Domain Architect.

This is a permanent role with a focus on Resilience that will work across the architecture practice to provide integration and resilience expertise guidance developing strategic roadmaps, providing roadmap maintenance, and developing capability roadmaps.

This Senior Domain Architect will need to have an authoritative expertise and a substantial grip on IT Resilience. Your skill in developing robust systems that can recover from issues and protecting important data will play a key role in strengthening systems. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining knowledge across a collection of domains, which may span various architecture disciplines and areas.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Integration Leadership: Spearhead the integration of services and capabilities across related domains, ensuring they are in sync with the broader enterprise needs and architectural vision.

Expert Advice: Serve as the domain expert, advising Enterprise and Solution Architects on both current and future needs and capabilities, and assisting in shaping business-led change and technology roadmap delivery.

Strategy Development: Formulate, and gain consensus on, principles and standards that govern the crafting, building, and enhancement of digital solutions.

Roadmap Maintenance: Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to update and refresh the Technology and Capability Roadmaps, ensuring alignment with strategy and work programmes.

**You’ll bring**:
Qualification & Experience: A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and/or substantial professional experience in architecture within large, complex environments.

Agile Proficiency: Robust experience in operating within an Agile environment and leading the development of technology strategies, architectural runways, and roadmaps.

Industry Knowledge: A profound understanding of contemporary, domain-specific industry best practices and methodologies.

Communication Mastery: Exceptional written and verbal skills, with the capability to convey complex issues and concepts in an accessible manner.

Expert Guidance: A history of providing expert advice and guidance in complex environments with competing priorities, and substantial experience with both current and emerging technologies.
Leadership: Demonstrable leadership experience in a given Enterprise Architecture domain or discipline.

People-Focused: A genuine interest in people, paired with experience in coaching and mentoring.
