Napier Municipal Theatre has an opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic customer-facing superstar to join our front of house team and provide outstanding customer service and efficient ticketing services to our patrons. This role requires a minimum of 20 hrs per week Mon-Fri as per roster, with occasional evenings/weekends.

You will be responsible for selling tickets, assisting with inquiries, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth operations of the ticketing system. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with the coordination and delivery of ticketing services and processes
- Ensure proper cash handling procedures are adhered to
- Assisting with performance ticket office sales
- Assisting with systems to ensure the ticketing function operates at its optimum
- Liaising with our contracted ticket provider and their support services
- Assisting at other Hawke’s Bay ticketed events
- Ensuring Council policy and legislative obligations are met
- Providing additional front of house support as required

To be considered for this role you will have:

- Proven customer service experience, ideally gained within the tourism industry
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities
- Capability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure
- Ability to build effective relationships with customers
- Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and school holidays as per rosta (based around events)
