Are you an experienced, compassionate and committed teacher aide? We have an exciting opportunity at our Hamilton campus to join the team. This role is on a part-time basis until December 2025 (25 - 30 hours per week, term time only). This role is Monday - Friday. Between the hours of 8.30am - 3pm during term time.
**The Role**:
This role involves working alongside our classroom teachers, on a one-to-one basis with individual students, as well as small groups. The role also requires the ability to monitor and gather data and communicate with family and staff.
**Skills and Experience**:

- Recent experience working with young people, particularly those at a similar age range.
- Experience supporting young people with learning challenges.
- An understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum and of different learning methods.
- A good level of digital competency.
- Ability to cater for a student’s varying needs, including implementation of strategies to support development of communication and learning.
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills.
- Patience, resilience, adaptability and empathy.

Whilst training and induction is provided, it is ideal that you possess most of the above attributes.
Anticipated start date for the role is Term 1, 2025
