**T**HE ROLE**

We are looking for Senior Software Engineers who are passionate about their craft, whether it’s developing beautiful user interfaces, writing complex algorithms or automated testing. We are looking for people with fresh ideas and an appetite to learn and grow in their roles.

You will drive technical improvements, and provide architectural oversight in these areas; develop, design, test and deploy high quality, robust software that are in line with our customers’ requirements and Coretex’s internal standards and processes. You will also be expected to mentor and lead other Software Engineers in these areas.

You will work with teams across Engineering to build automation into all aspect of software development, testing and deployment. This includes working with the DevOps team to build CI/CD pipelines for modules that you own.We believe in engineers taking full ownership of the software they build. This means you will be responsible for supporting your software in a production environment including being on-call when needed.

You can work from our offices based in Albany or New Market.
**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience crafting software at a senior capacity with Node.JS and maybe some.NET
- Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server as well as NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Experience designing and building Cloud Native solutions ideally on Azure
- Demonstrated experience working as an effective senior member of a fast-paced Agile team with a sound knowledge of Agile development practices.
- Proven ability to take ownership of the complete software engineering lifecycle including unit testing and automated regression/integration testing.
- Proven appetite for continuous learning and improvement.
