We have an exciting opportunity to join Lion’s Commercial Insights team as a Commercial Analyst, reporting directly to our Commercial Manager - Consumer. This is a permanent, full time position based out our Fanshawe St office, with the flexibility to work from home 50% of the time.

This is an agile role partnering a wide variety of stakeholders across the brand and category teams, whilst supporting beer, cider and wine brand team with external brand owner relationships and achieving right price, right cost, right range.

Key accountabilities for this role include:

- Partner the business by conducting analysis and providing commercial insights to enable decision making
- Support forecasting, planning, analysis, insight generation and reporting to deliver deep commercial insights and advice to support decision making and create value
- Supports category Innovation commercial P&L end to end life cycle
- Conduct data manipulation and modelling and prepare ad-hoc analysis to generate insights for decision making
- Identify risks and opportunities to commercial performance
- Ensure timely, accurate and insightful management of P&L and Balance Sheet
- Be aware of marketplace drivers
- Present complex information in simple format

We are looking for someone to actively find new ways to learn and grow, be challenged through formal and self directed learning, whilst strategically supporting external brand owner relationships.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- 2+ years Commercial Acumen, Risk and Governance & Data Manipulation Experience
- Strong Analytical Modelling Skills
- Experienced in utilising data to generate deep insights to influence decisions
- Be able to demonstrate internal and external stakeholder management experience
- Be a team player that wants to come on board and champion sociability within Lion
