***The Role**

We are actively seeking an experienced and qualified Mechanic to join us at our bustling Tuam St retail store in Christchurch. This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week, across Monday to Friday, where you'll be the expert and helping to drive our mechanical service offerings.

You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

- Performing general and some specialised mechanical repairs and servicing on a variety of customer vehicles
- Diagnosing faults accurately and efficiently using testing equipment
- Conducting inspections to ensure all work meets rigorous safety and compliance standards
- Providing clear and professional explanations of repair work and recommendations to our customers

***To be successful you must have**:

- A Level 4 Certificate in Light Automotive, or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Mechanic, ideally within the NZ market
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent computer literacy and technical proficiency
- Ability to work as part of a team and unsupervised
