**About the role**:
**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**
The University of Waikato College - Te Kura Huanui is currently looking to appoint an Admissions Manager. This key role will support the College Director and management team by taking overall responsibility for admissions to the wide range of programmes offered in the College. This is a pivotal management role, that will be at the forefront of ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of international and domestic students into the College and on towards academic success.
**Ngā Tūranga Matua | Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide expert leadership and oversight of the admissions process from end to end
- Ensure that entry requirement information is up to date and available
- Oversee business process improvements and system integrations and developments to achieve efficient and effective management of the student pipeline
- Ensure that information, reporting and systems are in place to maximise offer acceptance and conversion
**Mōu | About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will have a track record of taking increasing responsibility for admissions processing, preferably in a tertiary environment. You will be passionate about optimising complex and multifaceted administrative systems, and possess the stakeholder management skills to navigate diverse and sometimes conflicting views and priorities.
As a manager, you will possess strong analytical and reporting skills to contribute to the overall management of the College from both a strategic and operational perspective. You will be comfortable working across multiple IT platforms. You will have a strong focus on continuous improvement and managing processes that lead to a growing pipeline of students. You will bring the expertise in the entry requirements and qualifications in use internationally and in New Zealand that is needed to ensure robust process in the admission of international and domestic students to the University.
