This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week.

The remuneration range for this role is 69,496 to 98,113 (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience.

**The opportunity**

Support the team with your high-quality analytical skills in handling performance data across the COG team ensuring its robustness and accuracy. Your passion and potential will play a pivotal role in the continually evolving and implementing reporting processes.

You will get to:

- Work with Senior Analysts to improve data quality and data trends.
- Assist tell a story and show value to our councils.
- Be proactive with operations teams in understanding data quality pain points
- Ensure data is clean, robust and accurate for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to align with regulatory requirements
- Ensure the team have the appropriate reporting tools including dynamic dashboards in place to monitor performance.

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will bring:

- A tertiary qualification - Engineering degree or computer science
- A full New Zealand Driver's License
- Understanding of water supply, wastewater and stormwater systems beneficial
- Experience in regulatory environments and understanding of legislative compliance
- Excellent people and relationship building skills

**About us**

Wellington Water is the Wellington region’s professional water services provider. We are 100 percent council owned and funded by Wellington City, Hutt City, Porirua City, and Upper Hutt City councils, Greater Wellington Regional Council and South Wairarapa District Council.

Our councils own the water infrastructure in the region, and they task us to manage the infrastructure and deliver water services to their communities.

Our job is to provide safe and healthy drinking water, collect and treat wastewater, and ensure the stormwater network is well managed. We do this on behalf of our council owners.
