Construction Support Staff Required

New Zealand RK Fixers Limited Full time

We are looking for multiple experienced Construction Support staffin our Christchurch location. These are full-time permanent positions and will consist of manufacturing, installing and fixing ceilings as well as minor frame work and attending to window and door seals.

To be considered for these positions youll ideally have at least some experience to allow you to complete the tasks set out for this role, though we are happy to train you if required. You should have excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) and be able to work independently to reach goals. You must be able to multitask and will be able to complete work in set time frames.

You will be also expected to perform tasks such fixing Gib in residential houses as per drawings, measuring and cutting Gib sheets, looking at and interpreting drawing correctly, using your carpentry skills to remedy any defective carpentry work to allow the Gib to fit, completing minor frame work and attending to window and door seals as required as well as any other carpentry tasks assigned by a work Forman or a Supervisor from time to time.

These are full time Permanent positions, and we will offer you at least 30 hours of guaranteed work per week. The payrate we are looking at offering is a minimum of $29.66 per hour and a maximum of $35 per hour and will depend on your knowledge, skills and experience.
