We are looking for a dedicated and experienced **Nursing Lecturer** to join our team at EIT | Te Pūkenga, based in Tairāwhiti. This permanent, part-time role is focused on delivering high-quality teaching within the Bachelor of Nursing programme. You will contribute to curriculum development, student learning, and professional growth in a collaborative academic environment. The role includes classroom and online teaching, student support, and participation in research and community engagement.
The appointing salary for this role will be between** $79,416 and $89,639.**The Salary is Negotiable, dependent on Qualification, Skills and Relevant Experience.
The **Nursing Lecturer** is based in our **School of Nursing**, reporting to the **Head or Assistant Head of School Nursing/ Practicum Manager/ Site Lead**, and will be responsible for:
- Teaching and developing nursing course content
- Facilitating practical, simulation, and online learning experiences
- Supporting student academic progress and wellbeing
- Participating in curriculum and course development
- Contributing to research and community engagement

**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- Nursing practice experience (essential).
- Current practicing certificate as a Registered Nurse (essential).
- Bachelor of Nursing (essential) and postgraduate qualification (desired).
- Mātauranga Māori knowledge (required).
- Tertiary teaching experience in nursing (desired).
- Understanding and commitment to cultural safety within nursing practice (required).
- Clinical simulation experience and/ or qualifications (desired).
