Te Pūriri o Te Ora - Auckland’s Regional Cancer and Blood Service is based at Auckland City Hospital and is the leading provider of cancer care in the Auckland region, serving a large and varied population of around 1.7 million people. The Auckland City Hospital Radiation Oncology Department is the largest single site department in Australasia.
Our technology includes six linear accelerators (Varian and Elekta), C-RAD SGRT systems, Dual Energy CT, RaySearch Treatment Planning System, Mobius, SNC and Octavius QA platforms and a Flexitron HDR. We also have exciting developments underway - with the construction of a new brachytherapy suite, the installation of 2 new Varian TrueBeam linacs, as well as a new CT scanner.
This is your opportunity to provide Physics support across our Radiation Therapy Service. You will gain significant experience in clinical development projects and in the implementation of new techniques and technologies, eg in SRS, SABR and motion management. We are also an accredited training centre and you will inspire, lead, train and support Medical Physics Registrars to be successful in their roles.
You will also receive access to continuing professional development funds so you can continue to grow your expertise while attending international courses and conferences.

To be considered, you will be a registered Medical Physicist (ACPSEM Registered ROMP or international equivalent).
A passion for high quality evidence based Medical Physics will be essential to your success.
