Cook - Hamilton and Cambridge

Bupa is on the search for dedicated, hardworking and energetic Cooks to join our team across Hamilton and Cambridge area for a full time, part time and casual basis.
As part of our Kitchen team, you will help create a homely and healthy place for our residents by planning and delivering high-quality menu programmes and other catering needs, ensuring that the individual food and nutritional needs of our residents are met.
**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Menu planning and implementation
- Food preparation
- Adhere to food Hygiene and Safety
- Special event catering
- Ordering and Monitoring supplies
**About you**
- A relevant NZQA culinary qualification or equivalent is preferred
- A minimum of 1 to 1.5 years of cooking experience in the catering industry is essential
- Be prepared to roll up your sleeve and get stuck into whatever needs to get done
- Demonstrate enthusiasm, care, and passion for making a difference in our residents’ lives
- Ensure resident confidentiality
- Reliable transport or travel arrangements
