As a Broadcast Channels Operator, you will have the unique chance to make the final impact on our customers, delivering the latest insights and an unmatched broadcast experience. You will play a key role in coordinating, creating, and running the Ladbrokes, NEDS, and Trackside racing channels, ensuring every broadcast hits the mark. Your expertise and quick decision-making skills will ensure the channels run smoothly, keeping viewers in the loop with up-to-the-minute race info and thrilling content.

**Where and how you can work...**

We have offices in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Sydney, and Brisbane, to name a few _This role will be based in our dedicated control room in Auckland._

With a 24/7 operation, every second counts and you’re at the heart of the action. You'll need to thrive in a dynamic environment and be flexible across the week including weekdays, weekends, some public holidays, and possible late nights.

**Your day-to-day...**
- Coordinate with Scheduling, Production, and Master Control teams to ensure accurate rundowns, playlists, content, and linking circuits are delivered smoothly.
- Prepare and verify transmission rundowns to ensure everything is in place for a flawless broadcast.
- Operate all Control Room equipment, including graphics, vision switching, and audio mixing, ensuring seamless integration.
- Make operational decisions based on business judgment, the Channel Style Guide, and production requirements to ensure a consistent broadcast.
- Ensure fault-free, smooth delivery of transmission without interruptions or technical issues.
- Collaborate with Raceday Control and other Channel Operators for effective coordination during live broadcasts.
- Provide shift reports, detailing any issues, operational decisions, and equipment malfunctions for continuous improvement.
- Assist in training new staff, sharing your expertise and helping them adapt to the fast-paced broadcasting environment.

**You're a match if you ideally have...**
- 2-3 years of broadcasting experience or a relevant qualification in Digital Media or similar fields.
- Strong understanding of broadcasting operations and workflows, ensuring smooth live content delivery.
- Reliable and professional, with the ability to stay calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines during live broadcasts.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring flawless execution of graphics, audio, and broadcast elements.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and issue resolution.
- Reliable and professional, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Racing knowledge and interest is favorable, helping to enhance broadcast quality and understanding of key moments.
