We pride ourselves on our great customer service, being a trusted brand that offers great value to our customers, going the extra mile and being a fantastic place to work. **The hours and days for this role are**: Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm **About the roll** We have a full-time vacancy for an experienced merchandiser to join our grocery team. This role is responsible for ensuring that our inventory is managed accurately, our shelves are full for an assigned aisle and that we always deliver a high level of presentation for our customers. **About you** - A “customer comes first” attitude. - Wholesale or retail grocery experience. - A current fork hoist license. - A positive team attitude with an "in it together" approach. - Good physical fitness as there will be some heavy lifting involved. - Excellent communication skills. - Experience working collaboratively with others in a group or team. - High personal presentation standards. - Excellent attention to detail that are accurate in all areas of work. - A high degree of self-motivation that are reliable and consistent. - A strong Health & Safety mindset. - The ability to follow instructions and store procedures, as well as receiving constructive performance feedback. **What is in it for you?** - Instore 10% discount on groceries (some exclusions apply) - Weekly pay, competitive rate relative to experience. - Career development. - Access to PERKS app - offering discounts in 40+ stores. - Access to Clearhead our mental wellbeing platform. **About Gilmours & Foodstuffs** Gilmours North Shore is a pretty big business on its own, never mind being part of the Foodstuffs Cooperative (New World, PAK’nSAVE, Four Square and Gilmours.
