**About the role**

Reporting to the General Manager of SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton’s Aquarium, and with a dotted line to the Marketing Director based in Sydney, you will lead the development of the marketing strategy, inspire the business behind your vision, and execute the plans in market. You will be custodian of the brand, ensuring messaging is relevant to our core audiences and maximising consumer awareness, whilst having a keen eye on the commercial delivery of volume, revenue and yield targets.

You will be required to work in a cross functional team including operations and finance at the attraction, central marketing functions of design, PR, digital, education and trade sales, and also manage external marketing agencies.

You will be diving deep into a unique marketing role where no two days are quite the same. Whether that be working alongside our curatorial teams to produce adorable content with our incredible creatures, sharing amazing stories about our conservation projects or launching awesome new products and campaigns at our iconic attraction - a fast-paced but incredibly fun challenge awaits

**About You**

You are a passionate, digitally savvy marketeer who is looking to build their marketing career. A love for visitor attractions, travel, and tourism for any of our roles, and you will need to have passion for delivering truly magical experiences to our guests, and to truly shine in this position you will also have:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related field
- Minimum 4 years in a marketing role
- Proven track record in delivering strategically sound, commercial robust and successfully implemented marketing plans
- Comfort with ambiguity and an ability smoothly switch gears from strategy development to execution, on a daily basis
- Bags of creativity and enthusiasm to bring your plans to life for guests and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work in multi-disciplined/cross functional teams, in a fast paced environment
- Inter-personal savvy to be able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally
- Experience in the leisure, tourism or entertainment industry is advantageous but not a necessity
- A positive attitude and a love of FUN
