- This role will be a part of CentralNic’s global Finance Team based in Napier, New Zealand. The role of Accounts Clerk will be responsible for the effective management of Accounts Payable and Receivable and provide support for the Registry Management function of the APAC region.-
Key outcomes of the role
**Key outcomes of the role**:
- Maintain the day to day data entry of financial transactions into the accounting system.
- Management of debtors & creditors
- Reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, merchants and other accounts.
- Management of credit cards to ensure funds are available and internal policies and procedures complied with
- Assist in budgetary preparation, control and monitoring, as required
- Assist in taxation preparation, internal and external audits, and management reporting, as required
- Provide support to the Bookkeeper for monthly and year end procedures
- Manage and reconcile petty cash
- Perform ad hoc finance and administrative duties as required
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as banks, gateway providers and suppliers to ensure you have a network of knowledge and resources to perform your role
- Ensure all activities comply with accounting compliance requirements, legal requirements, ethical standards and group and/or local policies and procedures
- Ensure all tasks are performed in a timely manner with accuracy, discretion, judgment and confidentiality

- Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded
- Experience with Xero is desirable, but not essential
- Experience in dynamic, high volume complex environments
- Experience in multi-currency environment
- A proven track record of finance experience and administration skills
- The ability to be pro-active, take initiative with a strong eye for detail
