**Job Description**:

- Role involves shift work, 24/7 operations
- Manage the tanker, bunker, coal and jet release work
- Maintain a bunker, tanker, lube, coal and jet release roster.
- Perform bunkers, tankers, coal and lubes as required
- Manage and supervise direct reporting staff.
- Develop and maintain effective positive workplace relationships.
- Ensure the provision of quality customer service to clients whilst promoting the image, capability and integrity of SGS New Zealand Ltd.
- Develop and implement cost savings initiatives
- Operate to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the SGS Statement of Integrity.
- Ensure effective and timely achievement of the Key Performance Indicators set for this position.
- Be aware of and ensure complete adherence to all Health, Safety & Environment protocols, policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- Able to demonstrate a mechanical aptitude.
- Knowledge of and previous experience from within the oil industry.
- Experience with or understanding of Health and Safety practices in a safety critical discipline.
- Previous wharf experience is an advantage.
- Computer experience to an intermediate level would be ideal.
