Don't have a licence? No problem, our new Postie Trainee Program is for you

Here's what you'll do

As a Postie Trainee, in the first part of the program, you gain knowledge for sorting mail and how our run structures work. The next stage of the training will be learning about Health and Safety, theory work, and preparation. During your training we will pay for you to attend a Basic Handling Skills (BHS) from our authorised training provider through to your learner class 6 motorcycle licence.

This is an Entry Level role where no experience is necessary, no licence required, and we provide fully paid training.

That's not all DX Mail will continue to support you until you get your licence with a further five-year rider training programme.

While we have postie depots on the North Shore, West, East and South Auckland, our Postie Training Program is based in Penrose, from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Please note that you need to obtain your learner’s licence by completely passing the practical test and theory test within 4 weeks. If you successfully gained your learner’s licence, we can offer a full-time job.
