**Job Summary**:
Working closely with the NZ Customer Development Teams and ANZ Integrated Brand Experience team, this position owns Hill's NZ 7P Retail Category Strategy, Revenue Growth Management, and Go To Market strategies. This role is responsible for delivering a clear NZ category vision and programs in the pet retail, veterinary clinic and online environments to achieve our ambitious business growth objectives. In addition this role is responsible for localizing and executing the AU Media strategy including our Food Shelter love initiatives. Critical to this exciting role is an ability to work within a cross functional team in a fast paced environment with numerous internal stakeholders.

**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Lead & Execute the Category Strategy, 7P, Revenue Growth Management Excellence**
- Develops and implements a 7P process for each brand by channel and sets parameters by customer. Monitors implementation of 7P strategy.
- Lead local pricing strategy and SPI process based on global guidelines.
- Develop and lead local promotional strategy and execution based on local guidelines.
- Leads and manages NZ product portfolio range/category review by recommending which NPD will be launched
- Own Revenue Growth Management capabilities to deliver revenue growth for the business and customers.
- Influence local subsidiary P&L by recommending the annual budget requirements and managing and monitoring A&P investment and GtN spend on a monthly basis for each brand and maximizing spend to increase ASP and margin.
- Provide effective team leadership and influence of multifunctional teams to achieve objectives.

**Go To Market, New Product Development launches**
- Leads GTM strategy for the overall Hill’s portfolio.
- Develops and manages execution for new product launches, reformulations and product improvements, across all of the Hill’s brands through effective adoption of the global and regional bundles.
- Projects, plans and forecasts NPD brand volume/profit and distribution utilizing financial analysis

**Customer Value Planning, media execution, asset localisation including website, Food Shelter Love &, Point of Sale**
- Develop local ATL media & digital annual CVP plans aligned with AUNZ and manage Media Agency Relationships to deliver strategy.
- Customer and key account engagement - JBP and promotional support.
- Input into local research eg BRUMO studies
- Manage and localize NZ HP Website, NZ HV Website, Product DAM and CRM localisations, and Consumer competitions
- Retailer POP execution (Bespoke and retailer led)
- Planogram development and communication
- Liaising with external parties such as printers and artwork agencies and delivery of marketing materials

**Education/ Experience Requirements**:

- Holds Bachelor's Degree in business or marketing
- At least 5+ years Sales & Customer management experience (Pet, Vet, PurePlay )

**Expected Areas of Skills**:

- Strong Digital Marketing & strategic thinking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver successful business results e.g. new product launch, re-launch, cost savings, packaging change, promotional program, or increase market share.
- Strong Team Building & networking skills with effective management of cross-functional project teams.
- Ability to understand financial as well as business implications of programs and initiatives
