**The Role**

As a Field Service Technician, you will report to the Service Manager and play a pivotal role in managing a diverse portfolio of clients primarily located in the Auckland region.

While the majority of your work will be local, occasional travel to different areas might be required to assist with critical projects or repairs.

Key responsibilities will encompass:
Providing comprehensive technical support to end users, industry professionals, and internal staff. Your expertise will play a critical role in swiftly and effectively resolving technical challenges and inquiries.

Addressing field repairs efficiently as they arise, ensuring timely solutions and optimal performance of the products. Your ability to diagnose and rectify issues will be essential in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.Offering guidance and assistance to field personnel encountering technical obstacles, aiding them in overcoming challenges and offering effective solutions to ensure seamless operations.Taking ownership of electrical operating systems, ensuring their consistent operation and reliability. Regular maintenance and troubleshooting will be core aspects of your role.
- Assisting with product installations when necessary, providing invaluable support during such projects. Your proficiency in engineering will be instrumental in ensuring successful and efficient installations.

**Skills and Experience**
- Prior experience in a field-based service role, involving maintenance or service activities. This experience will equip you to address repairs and technical inquiries effectively. Knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering, either through formal education or practical experience in engineering or hands-on work with tools. This expertise will be essential in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.Possession of an Electrical License would be a significant advantage, showcasing your expertise and formal qualification in the field.
- Self-motivation and proactive attitude. You should be comfortable working independently and taking the initiative to identify and mitigate potential issues before they escalate.

**Benefits**

Competitive salary ranging from $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 per annum, dependent on skills and experience + Opportunities for Overtime

Permanent, full-time position, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, based in Auckland

Requirement for an Engineering qualification or demonstrated practical experience in mechanical or electrical domains. Possession of relevant registrations would be highly beneficial.
