For our busy Takeaway in the Edgecumbe, a supervisor who is prepared to work on flexible owners-based roster

This is a fulltime permanent position

Hours of work: Minimum 30 - 35 hours (as rostered)must be prepared to work in the weekends and public holidays.

Place of Employment: Edgecumbe

Wages: from $25.00 - $28 an hour based on skills and experience.

Skills Required:Preferred applicant with a tertiary qualification and /or minimum of 1-years’ work experience in the hospitality industry.

Job Description:

- Assist Manager in ordering supplies, in budgeting, stocktaking, maximising profitability

- Must have good communication skills and customer relations.

- Ability in handling financial transactions and maintaining financial records

- Assist in training junior staff

- Ensuring food safety & health safetycompliance standards are maintained.

- Ability to work with cook on Menu planning, food costing

- Updating menus,

- Running promotion and specials using business website and social media

- Assist with outside catering set up.
