**Role**:
Our client is on the lookout for an exceptional lead developer to work in their Product Team. You will get the chance to work alongside some very talented individuals building performant user interfaces and components using modern JavaScript technology and toolsets. There is also the opportunity to work on back-end integrations and APIs if you are that way inclined.

They build new features on top of a modern stack, consisting of web and mobile front-end apps (React), communicating through APIs to.NET and Node.js services, backed by Postgres databases, all deployed using Docker in a continuous delivery cycle to AWS. You don't need to have experience in all these specific technologies as they're great at teaching good developers how to use their modern SaaS stack.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Technical leadership of the development team
- Project planning and execution in conjunction with the Product team
- Assisting with technical architecture and design
- Overseeing the AWS operational requirements
- Code reviews and technical QA
- Collaboration and communication with other parts of the organisation
- Research and Development / Proof of Concepts
- Documentation and knowledge sharing
- Mentoring and coaching of junior staff

**Skills/Experience**:

- 8+ years of commercial frontend development experience using React (preferred), or alternatively experience building microservices and RESTful APIs, preferably in JavaScript (ES7) / Node.js, using industry-standard technologies, such as JSON and GraphQL.
- Exposure to mobile technologies such as React Native and Flutter are highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience using any of the major database platforms; PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, being proficient in both database design and query composition.
- You have an armoury of modern design patterns, practices, and philosophies, seeking clean, readable, testable, and maintainable source code.
- Possess a hands-on, can-do, and knowledge-sharing attitude.
- A relentless desire to continue learning and self-improvement.
