Our business is growing, and we have a fantastic opportunity for a customer focused Retail Sales Consultant to join our team. The role offers lots of scope day to day from working on the shop floor, booking in workshop jobs, assisting with admin, and even assembling equipment.

**About the role**

As our newest **Retail** **Sales Expert**, you’ll join a high-performing, passionate and mature team of individuals, and a store that has a proud history servicing the local market. As a key part of our retail team, you’ll be tasked with selling equipment such as Chainsaws, Line-trimmers, Brush-cutters, Lawnmowers, Hedge-trimmers, Generators, Pressure cleaners (electric & petrol), Concrete Saws, Post Hole Borers, Sprayers, Blowers, Ride-on lawnmowers, garden hand tools, water pumps, & chipper shredders. This role is five days a week and full-time, rostered with the fortnightly working on Saturdays. You will also be involved in:

- Assembling and running up products before to sale (i.e. starting chainsaws, lawnmowers, when showing customers basic operations).
- Spare parts inventory management.
- Assisting with the loading and unloading vehicles, including assisting customers with loading/unloading equipment into/out of their vehicles.
- Tidying and merchandising shelves and retail displays, when required.
- Answering phone calls and dealing with customer requests as required

**About you**

You will join us from a retail background, with an interest in products that are mechanical, technical, and high-end such as our STIHL and complimentary products. You’ll have some retail experience, ideally from a large retailer, where you understand the notion of stock in stock out.

You know how to provide exceptional customer service, are hungry to learn and grow, are well presented and clearly spoken with a friendly demeanour. You can multi-task, and work to deadlines.

We love to show off our products in their true form, so lifting and physical movement of stock will be required, so a level of physical fitness and strength is a must.
