An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and capable person to join the Head & Neck Surgical Services Team as a Patient Pathway Coordinator. In this busy role, you will participate in a programme of work across multiple Services with an emphasis on patient engagement, data, quality, and systems integrity. This is an important position with the opportunity to make big difference to the administrative running of our teams and to positively impact the experience of our patients.
They’ll be all sorts of opportunities for you to review and improve our processes and you’ll be supported in developing and implementing your ideas to better serve our patients. It’s fast paced work with lots of competing demands for your attention and prioritisation.
We think you could be right for this role if you:
- Have 3+ years’ relevant work experience in a healthcare setting or experience in using systems in a customer service related role
- Are flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Can juggle competing demands and make good judgements on prioritising workloads
- Are a natural communicator who loves interacting with others, getting along with our staff and patients however also knowing when you have to say no to people
- A team player through and through, happy to support the rest of the team and confident to ask for help when you need it

This role is permanent, full time working 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday. This role is located primarily at Auckland City Hospital; however, you may from time to time be requested to work across other sites within the greater Auckland area so flexibility is a must.
Prior hospital experience will be a distinct advantage with preference being given to those who have knowledge of PHS /CMS/Innoforce/Titanium.
