We are seeking an experienced Housekeeper (Cleaner) to join the fabulous team at Ivan Ward Centre (Hospital level care), Selwyn Village in Pt Chevalier for the following permanent full time vacancy:
**Tuesday, Thursday to Sunday 7am to 3pm = 37.5hrs**
**Monday to Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday 7am to 3pm = 37.5hrs**:

- There may also be opportunities to pick up additional shifts if desired_.
**_About the role: _**
As a Housekeeper, you will provide support and assistance to residents and care partners to ensure the cleanliness of the residents' home is maintained to a high standard.
Reporting to the Care Manager, you will be performing basic household duties i.e. vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, delivering household linen etc. Working with the household team and residents you will ensure the home is maintained to a high standard.
To be successful in this role, you must be passionate about working in an aged-care environment.

Other requirements include:

- Previous housekeeping/cleaning experience - ideally in an Aged Care / hospitality environment
- Ability to work within a team
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Valid NZ work permit
- Good computer skills are advantageous.
