This is an opportunity for a motivated, innovative Registered Nurse who is keen to work a range of roles within the hospital and community setting - this mode of working is to support the needs and demands of our rural community. Flexibility of work area is essential and is also an exciting part of the Public Health Nurse role. Orientation and education will be provided the chosen applicants. We are centrally located in the rohe (region) of Te Nehenehui (Mid-Central North Island). We have close working relationships with our community. We work as a multi-disciplinary team with our allied colleagues, palliative care and mental health, with the aim of providing a seamless journey for those people who require our service/s. The inpatient ward and emergency work as one team. There are outpatient clinic of a wide range, nurse led clinics, District Nurse Service and Public Health Nurses.
