Did you know that Mitre 10 is New Zealand’s leading gardening retailer and we have an opportunity within our Mitre10 Mega Napier where you can help guide customers with their “green” supplies

We are looking for an experienced retail professional with green fingers and a customer-focused attitude to work in our garden centre.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- 100% customer focus, consistently capturing all our customers’ needs
- Excellent communication and organization
- A knowledge of garden hardware, green goods and associated products is preferred
- Experience in the retail industry

Your gardening passion may come from time in your own back-yard or you may have undertaken horticultural training - either way you will enjoy helping our customers select the right plants for the job at hand. Ideally you will be experienced with the sale of both green and dry garden goods, although applicants with a proven retail background and who are eager to learn will be considered.

We have a full-time position available working a Sunday to Thursday - 40 hours per week.
