The Y Taranaki are looking for a **full time (40 hours per week) Tutor **in our **New Plymouth **Education team.

Y Education offer programmes and services that make a real change in the lives of our rangatahi and provides a wide range of learning opportunities to motivate them to academic achievement.

**Tutors at Y Education change young lives on a daily basis through learning, influencing, and motivating rangatahi to reach their goals.** If you have the desire and ability to make a strong contribution to your community through leading and supporting a diverse group of young people and we’d love to hear from you.

**To be successful in the role **you’ll need excellent communication skills, high standards of integrity and an understanding of Te Ao Maori me ona Tikanga. A full driver’s licence is essential and a strict attitude toward health and safety.

While tutoring experience is an advantage, we also value your skills and previous experience working with rangatahi. An understanding of adult learning and/or knowledge of NZ education standards will also be helpful in the role.
