**_What we are looking for:_**

To support the growth opportunities in New Zealand, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Account Manager to help maximise revenues from key sales accounts to achieve agreed revenue targets and sales quotas, and seek out new opportunities to grow the Landis+Gyr products and services offering. You will have expereince in establishing and maintaining long-term, collaborative relationships with our customers with a proven track record in in developing and growing sales accounts.

**_Key Responsiblities:_**

Reporting to the Account Director & New Zealand Leader, the key responsiblities of this role include:

- The ability to quickly establish professional relationships with existing key customers, ensuring excellent customer service and that products and services are sold in accordance with budgeted targets;
- Preparing and communicating the progress of monthly sales account reports utilizing performance against budget, forecast and projected figures;
- Overseeing the administration of contracts to ensure customer service levels are met, and considering any customer related modifications and changes in delivery or commercial conditions;
- Maintaining and evaluating records of order volumes, price fluctuations and competitor activity;
- Liaising with cross-functional internal teams relating to technical issues, cost trends, plant loading, quality and product related issues;
- Facilitating the accurate and timely preparation of tenders, quotations and order processing; and
- Assisting with client requests or issue escalations as needed, including identifying any training needs and new product opportunities.

**_Skills and Competencies:_**

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who has sound experience in a range of technical skills and capabilities including:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, science or related technical field;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience preferably in account management or technical sales delivering client-focused solutions to customers in a B2B (business to business) sales environment;
- Previous experience in technical product and solutions within the electricity, metering, Internet of things (IoT) or building automation sectors. Experience in load management and control systems is preferred;
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral), interpersonal and presentation skills;
- Advanced computer skills with solid experience in using Microsoft Office;
- Excellent negotiation skills and commercial acumen;
- Proven time management skills; and
- A valid Driver’s License in New Zealand.
