**About the Role**:
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Business Development / Sales Representative to join NHP New Zealand.

Reporting to the Sales Manager for Power Distribution, you will develop new opportunities and take ownership of existing customer base throughout Auckland.

With the confidence knowing you are carrying NHP’s reputable brand on your shoulders, you will be given technology and resources to ensure you develop and maintain strong customer relationships we pride ourselves on.

- With a deep understanding of your customer, develop the best and most effective sales proposals in the market, tapping into the wider NHP resources, as required.
- Developing project opportunities with a win, win outcome for all stakeholders.
- Coordination of customer education sessions and presentations, highlighting how our products, solutions and service capabilities produce improved outcomes.

**Ideally you will have / be**:

- **A background in the Electrical industry**:

- Proven sales & business development experience
- Outstanding communicator who thrives on building strong customer relationships
- An ability to listen, understand customer needs and provide value to their business
- Highly motivated with drive & persistence to succeed
- Effective time management & organizational skills
