The Manager, System Policy reports to the Deputy Chief Executive / Director System Stewardship and is responsible for building the centre of expertise for policy and investment activities across the family violence and sexual violence system.

A proven people leader with experience working with a system view, you will strengthen our approach and use of knowledge and insights to improve and shape our contribution as a key advisor across government, so we are an active player and contributor to the broader policy work and advice to eliminate family violence and sexual violence.

You will also be responsible for leading the thinking and work to mature and strengthen the delivery of an Investment Plan for the system, ensuring this seamlessly interfaces with the Outcomes and Measurement Frameworks and forms a critical partner to Te Aorerekura.

**He pūkenga tou/Skills and Experience**
- Lead and developed high performing and high functioning teams in a medium to large organisation.
- Experience with social sector issues, ideally in relation to family violence and sexual violence.
- A good understanding of central government processes, and experience working constructively and collaboratively across government.
- Excellent experience and skills in engagement with key stakeholders and officials.
- Demonstrated success in a writing policy and leading a policy team.
- Proven relationship management skills demonstrated by the establishment and maintenance of a range of effective business/operational management inter-relationships across business units and/or a network of professionals, managers, and external parties.

Te Puna Aonui is a small unit, with a big role. Established as an Interdepartmental Executive Board (IEB) our mandate is to ensure there is clear, joint accountability across government for work relating to the elimination of family violence and sexual violence.

As the centre of expertise that stewards the Family Violence and Sexual Violence System and the system strategy Te Aorerekura, we work in partnership with the communities we serve and always hold survivors, family, and whānau at the centre of everything we do.

**Utu ā-tau/**Salary**

The appointing salary for this role will be between $143,662 and $201,170 based on skills and experience.
