**Tenei turanga - About the Role**:
The Compliance team is looking for an Immigration Compliance Manager within the Immigration Compliance and Investigations Branch.
In this role, you report into the National Manager Compliance within the Immigration Compliance and Investigations branch, which sits within the Te Whakatairanga Service Delivery Group.
You are a strong, experienced people leader who cares about supporting your team, their development and can offer great guidance to them.
You bring proven experience in a regulatory environment, complemented by a strong track record in leading operational teams, managing a risk, exercising sound judgment, and collaborating effectively across the system to deliver great outcomes.

**Skills and Experience Required**
If you meet all or most of the following criteria, you might be the right person for this role:
- Experience in the management of regulatory or compliance activity cross agency collaboration.
- Management skills including support in growth for people and supporting your team with case management and technical knowledge.
- Knowledge in managing, coaching and mentoring others to achieve results and professional growth.
- Background in compliance practices including the ability to find resolutions with incomplete or uncertain facts.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and influence others.
- Proven experience in supporting cultural change.
- Strong action orientation and proven ability to drive results.
- Experience in managing operational issues and the ability to mitigate risks within the MBIE risk appetite in an operational environment.
- Experience in developing and maintaining key networks and stakeholder relationships, including other NZ Inc agencies.
- Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand.
