Our team
Support, build and deliver infrastructure solutions for a wide range of customers in Datacom's growing Middleware team. This is an opportunity to join a team of Middleware Specialists from around the world who are acknowledged experts in their field and to gain experience working with cutting edge middleware and cloud technologies. You'll quickly gain experience and learn skills in an environment that is unlike any other in terms of diversity and rate of growth.
About the Role
In this role you will be working with clients from day one so strong, clear written and verbal communication skills combined with the ability to build effective relationships (internally and externally) will be paramount to your success. There will be a lot to learn in this role so the desire and commitment to professional development is essential.

What you’ll bring

- Hands on experience in managing, installing and configuring single and cluster middleware instances on different OS versions (windows, Linux, Solaris, HP-Unix)
- Experience with complex Middleware projects (migrations, upgrades, re-platforms, high availability and DR)
**Technologies/Services supported**:
- AWS/Azure - Cloud Operations, preferably with knowledge of IaC tools such as Cloudformation, Terraform, ARM template, Powershell
- Container Platform Management - Openshift, Kubernettes, Docker
- Automation - Ansible / Puppet
- Oracle Fusion Middleware e.g. Weblogic, EBS, OIM, OAM, OUD, OVD etc
- IBM Middleware - Websphere Application Server, MQ, WS portal, WS process server, IBMS IAM products
- JBOSS EAP, JBOSS Fuse. AMQ
- WSO2
**Advantageous additional skills**:
- Any experience with CI/CD tools such as Maven, Jenkins or similar
- Any experience with DevOps practices and tools
- Good knowledge/experience of Linux and/or Windows operating systems, and/or any open source database, e.g. Postgres/MySQL/MongoDB
- Any experience with Elastic Search, e.g. ELK and Prometheus & Grafana
