**If so, Design Factory NZ (DFNZ) and Wintec are seeking an **Innovation Coach and Researcher** **to join our team**

We are looking for someone who is an expert in human-centered design and other innovation frameworks, has experience coaching others in innovation challenges, and has research capabilities in further-exploring this domain. You will be involved in guiding our post-Graduate and undergraduate students on their learning pathways and helping grow Design Factory NZ into a key player in innovation for the region, nation and our global network.

This is a permanent fulltime position, based at our Kirikiriroa | Hamilton City Campus. However, we are open to applicants seeking part-time or flexible working arrangements.

**About the role**

The DFNZ is an innovation hub at Wintec that focuses on industry engaged interdisciplinary study, co-design and innovation. Our mission is simple - to help people unlock their problem solving and innovation skills. We utilise human centred design and transdisciplinary thinking approaches andare constantly growing our innovation toolbox.

If you’re well established in your career with the innovation skills to match, you’ll find an exciting new challenge at Wintec.We are looking for someone who can work alongside a passionate team of educators to provide supervision, workshops, research and co-creation experience for both undergraduate and post graduate students.

You’ll have practical and theoretical understanding of human center design approaches or transdisciplinary thinking, research and supervision experience. If you have good facilitation and communication skills and are enthusiastic about the work you do, now is best time to share that knowledge and passion with the next generation.

**To be a successful applicant**:

- Be experienced in applied transdisciplinary thinking or human centered design approaches.
- Research experience or an interest in engaging in new research projects
- Networks and experience in engaging industry partners
- Experience in facilitation and workshop planning and delivery
- Able to coach and facilitate learning of others
