Daltons Ltd, based in Matamata, are suppliers of bulk and bagged growing media and landscape products to many of NZ’s leading landscapers, retailers and nurseries.
Due to increasing demand Daltons are looking for an experienced truck and trailer driver with a Class 5 licence to join their team.
Ideally, the successful applicant will have experience with a Roadranger gearbox, however, applicants with only experience with automatic gearbox driving will still be considered. Training will be offered for the right person. This role is to be based out of the Matamata site, however, it may be possible to be based in Tauranga.
The job will involve both pallet deliveries and bulk tipping work, truck and trailer. Ideally, the applicant will also have F and W endorsements but full training will be provided for both licenses if required.
The successful applicant will have a positive can-do attitude and a willingness to ensure Daltons customers are well supported with an efficient and friendly delivery service. Applicants must be reliable, physically fit and able to work as part of a team.
Time management skills and an understanding of good health & safety practices are essential in fulling this role. Daltons are looking for applicants who understand that customers are key to a successful business.
