**Job Description** JO&JOE is opening its new hostel in Auckland And is looking for its next Houseperson.**
Come and write a page in the history of JO&JOE, by being part of the opening team The Houseperson is the behind-the-scenes hero, supporting the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure our spaces are always ready for guests and the community.

**Mission 1**:Support the housekeeping team by delivering linen, amenities, and supplies to guest rooms and public areas.

**Mission 2**:Respond quickly to guest requests for extra towels, pillows, or other items, always with a friendly smile.

**Mission 3**:Keep public spaces (lobbies, corridors, restrooms) clean, tidy, and welcoming at all times.

**Mission 4**:Assist with minor maintenance tasks and report any issues promptly to the relevant team.

**Mission 5**:Help set up and break down event spaces as needed.

**Mission 6**:Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

**Mission 7**:Be a team player, always ready to lend a hand wherever needed.
**Qualifications** Because you’ve got it in you**:

- A keen eye for detail and a passion for cleanliness.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to help others.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strict adherence to hygiene, waste management, and safety rules.
- A desire to learn and grow.

**YOUR LITTLE EXTRAS ARE**:

- Experience in hospitality or cleaning roles is a plus, but not essential.
- Language required: English
