With an expanding clientele in Wellington, we are currently looking for 3 Kitchenhands who are hardworking, enthusiastic, and attentive to food preparation and production facilitating our day-to-day operation.

The employment is on an ongoing and permanent basis. The work will be carried out in Wellington with an assured 30-hour working week.

- Washing, disinfecting, and polishing dishware based on company pr
- Cleaning kitchen equipment, working area, and general
- Maintaining order and cleanliness of the kitchen, food preparation areas, and service areas based on industry and company s
- Assembling and preparing food ingredients for cooking delicious Vietnamese cuisines adhering to quality s
- Weighing, transferring, checking, and storing food ing
- Receiving, lifting, handling, and storing food de
- Cooking, toasting, and heating food under the supervision of
- Packing foods and
- Restocking/replenishing kitchen supplies and maintaining equipment as
- Working unsupervised and supporting all sections across the restaurant.

- Relevant experience in a commercial Kitchen is an advantage but not required
- Good knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine
- At least a high school qualification or equivalent
- Excellent verbal communication and memorization skills
- Solid understanding of food handling, sanitation, and prevention of food-borne illnesses
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Physically fit for standing and walking for extended periods and lift to 50 lbs
- Willingness to perform additional duties to facilitate the restaurants operations, as needed.
- Pass pre-employment police vetting and drug test
- Have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.

Our business opens 7 days a week from 10:30 am to 9:00 pm including public holidays, so you will be required to work late nights, weekends, and holidays. To be successful, you should be outgoing and adept at stress management, ensuring a seamless operation at the venue.
